-eist or not

One can only take so many blogs and reblogs on all things "-eist," without wondering where everybody got all their horses, why they stand so very high, and where can I get a fine stallion to sit upon while vomiting my own biased from.
The only thing I am absolutely certain of is a universal uncertainty that faith inconveniently soothes for some and aggravates for others. The purpose of this isn't to convert anyone or encourage any significant change; in fact, this isn't really for anyone but myself - to vent, to question, to point out things that don't make much sense, but mainly to share ideas, quotes, or whatever else that might present itself and provoke my interest. Those who are open are welcome, those who aren't are welcome to troll. Like I said, this one's for me.

On Japan

A lot of people have been criticizing others for sending their prayers and other condolences to the victims of this disaster. The truth is, people are suffering and we have all been made thoroughly aware of it therefore it is our duty as part of the human race to contribute whatever we have for the recovery and restoration of those who have been broken - even if all some have to give is a small and distant hope.

If you, personally, are offended by the hope of another, then your problems run deeper than whatever naivety they possess. This is not the time for negativity, judgment, or pride and how dare you insult the people of Japan by being consumed with your petty peeves on personal beliefs instead of seeing the magnitude of what is really going on. How dare you manipulate and use their pain as an argument to prove or disprove your point in a debate.

Think some people be doing more to help? Then pick up their slack. Do what YOU personally can and more, not because it’s fair, but because it is right.
