-eist or not

One can only take so many blogs and reblogs on all things "-eist," without wondering where everybody got all their horses, why they stand so very high, and where can I get a fine stallion to sit upon while vomiting my own biased from.
The only thing I am absolutely certain of is a universal uncertainty that faith inconveniently soothes for some and aggravates for others. The purpose of this isn't to convert anyone or encourage any significant change; in fact, this isn't really for anyone but myself - to vent, to question, to point out things that don't make much sense, but mainly to share ideas, quotes, or whatever else that might present itself and provoke my interest. Those who are open are welcome, those who aren't are welcome to troll. Like I said, this one's for me.

Worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at 4 pm on some idle Tuesday.
